Upcoming Programs

December 3  - Deck the halls with floral designs!  The presenters will create and present wonderful design ideas for our homes for the holidays.  This meeting is our Holiday Gathering and is not held at the regular meeting place.  It is held at Gleneagles Country Club located at 5401 West Park Blvd., Plano, TX and requires a reservation.

January 7 - Water is fast becoming a precious commodity.   When it rains, water is abundant, and conservation is not a topic that we think about.  However, Plano’s dry season or even one of its droughts gives pause to our water use.  Learn about rainwater harvesting and native plants.  Our speaker is also passionate about utilizing landscapes as beneficial habitats for wildlife. Take this opportunity to find out about the role of water in a different light. Our presenter Daniel Cunningham is also known as the Texas Plant guy on social media, he writes for Dallas Morning news, and has gardening segments on NBC Channel 5.

"BEHIND the scenes at the ARBORETUM'S GARDENS"

February 4 - The goal of the Arboretum gardens is to be beautiful 365 days a year. That is a tall order, but the Arboretum staff aces it on a continual basis.  Learn some of the tricks of the trade as our speakers guides us through a year behind the scenes at the Arboretum.
