January 8 - "EDIBLE LANDSCAPES" - When Craig Lewis talks, people listen.  Come discover how to landscape with edible plants both for beauty and delectible delight!  Craig is the Greenhouse Supervisor at UT-Dallas and oversees all of the native plants, student and staff community gardens, and development of green scapes for the UT-Dallas campus.

Service in Action

January 10 - "PIONEER PLACE SENIOR COMMUNITY" - The project will be making small floral arrangements.  This event will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Creative Designers

January 15 - Carol Coughran, Flower Show Judge, will teach LOW PROFILE DESIGN.  You will need to review the techniques sheet you were given in September as you are required to use several in this design.  The design is appropriate for a coffee or sofa table.  Please bring long branch materials and a low container. The completed design should be four times as long as it is high. Please RSVP so we can purchase enough flowers.  This event will be held from 9 a.m. to Noon.
